Born in Shizuoka, living in Yokohama. Grew up with the influence of Punk/New wave, Jazz/Fusion, and Soul/80's Funk. In his youth, he had a privilage of experiencing gigs of Disco Legends (Larry Levan, Tee Scott, Walter Gibbons, etc.) and Warehouse party in Tokyo. He was mesmerized by the soundscape which travels through all kinds of genre of music. In the meantime, he listened to NY/Chicago House, early Detroit Techno, Hip Hop, Reggae/Dub. Has been around 11 countries in the world from Sheffield, UK to Kingston, Jamaica to see DJ culture and sound systems. He has organized countless cutting-edge nights where he invited various national/international DJs/Producers, Live PA and Bands.
Since 1995, he has started his own parties in different locations. In 1996, he had a DJ tour in Amsterdam and founded a label "L5 Recordin's". Continued working based in Yokohama with the releases of 12", Mix Tapes, Mix CDs. Started DJing in Hawaii in 2004, he spinned in "THE SO VERY SHOW" in KTUH-FM where DJ Harvey and Nicky Siano had past appearances. In 2007, after a visit to Detroit, he founded a production "AC045". Inspired by Yokohama Reggae Sound Systems, Hi Fidelity Audio, and Disco installers in NYC, he set off a vintage sound system, "ISLAND XTACY (IXSS)", which he started to construct in 2005. Also he resumed studio work and is expected to keep vigorous activities.
