Born in Yokohama, Japan. Raised with New York house music scene via South American Electro. Currently living in Yokohama.
Spent his college life in Buffalo, NY from 2002 to 2007. In the summer 2002, an encounter with the last monthly party of Body & Soul in NYC broadened his concept on dance music as a wide sense.
Since then, he has deeply taken part in a variety of music scenes throughout the world; Nuthin But The House Party@Union Square Ballroom, Roots@Cielo, the Loft, Choices@Harlem Theater. 99 Sudbury, Some Cats from Japan@Image Festival. DEMF 2007. D-Edge, Luv-e. Pacha. 73 East, Light, Fabrique. Lux, Ze Dos Bois. During his first visit to Brazil in 2003, he had mind-blowing experiences with South American Electro Scene in Sao Paulo, which was not highly exposed in media at the time. Later on, he also came into contact with a range of indigenous music such as Candombe in Montevideo.
During a residency in Buffalo, paralleled to dance music, he was heavily inclined to Noise, Improvisation, and Free Jazz. As a member of a noise band, Ambulance Parking, he played a tape recorder and electronics at Soundlab, where all the prestigious underground musicians such as Animal Collective, DJ Olive, Town and Country, Aki Onda, Tony Conrad have played. He was also a resident DJ for Pecha Kucha Night in Buffalo in 2006, which currently takes place in 114 different cities in the world. After a long-awaited return from Portugal to Japan in 2007, he joined IXSS with an aspiration of distributing cutting edge dance music culture in Yokohama. Responsible for design and construction of speaker enclosure.
